Biography

I lead the algorithm direction at Aibee Inc., where our mission is to bring the offline world online. Towards this goal, we are building large-scale AI total solutions to empower and upgrade traditional industries.

Prior to that I was leading the Fine-Grained Object Recognition direction at Baidu Research in Sunnyvale and Media Analytics group, NEC Lab in Cupertino. In 2014, I received the PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, where I worked with Dr. Fernando de la Torre in the Human Sensing Lab. During my PhD study, I did two internships, one at Adobe's Advanced Technology Labs at San Jose, and the other in Interactive Visual Media group, Microsoft Research at Redmond.
